I chose Alexandria as my Doula because she worked closely with my son at Kids Unplugged. She was very knowledgeable, and the kids loved her!

From the very beginning, she was extremely kind and understanding that my family was on a major budget offering her sliding scale service. Halfway through my pregnancy, my family faced unforeseen expenses, I could no longer afford her. She offered to support me as the friend she had become, volunteering through my postpartum recovery.

I ended up having complications during my pregnancy. She helped by explaining everything to me in a way I could understand. Her goal was to give me peace so I could get some sleep at night. She showed me company on my lonely days. She also included spirituality often. It helped me stay positive in my darkest times. But the most important thing, that I will never forget, is that she showed up for me when no one else could.

I went in for an ultrasound with a specialist two and a half hours away from where I lived. They told me I had to have this baby right away and admitted me to the hospital to induce labor immediately. My husband and son were with me. It was all very unexpected and we were not prepared. Because my family was far away no one could make it to me in time. I called Alexandria to let her know what was going on. My husband had to bring my son home. She got in the car right away, picked up my hospital bag and car seat, and showed up for me when I felt all alone.

She stroked my hair in the place of my mom. She held my legs and encouraged me while my baby was coming before the Dr. could ever make it. She was present, she was calm (she kept me calm), she answered my questions, and she fed me when I was too exhausted after giving birth to my daughter.

She is simply amazing. Alexandria is one of those people who was just destined for the job she chose. She’s a professional and just a wonderful person too. She will forever hold a very special place in my heart and my family.

I have worked with Alexandria professionally for over 15 years. Within that time, I have been a witness to her superpowers, as I like to call them. Recommending her for any endeavor is a no-brainer!

She helped us grow our infant care program, consulting and guiding us in our expansion. Her expertise in infant care and childcare classroom management helped us to define our programming and staff dynamics. We wouldn’t be where we are today without her knowledge and balanced care.

In addition, she taught kiddos in our fully licensed daycare. In 2021 she served as our Summer Camp Director, expanding programming and community outreach, as well as fundraising to provide access to families experiencing financial hardship.

Alexandria will hold space for you, your child, or your business as if her own. She is a person that will make an impression on you that will last for the rest of your days. She’s our resident diplomat, blessed with the incredible ability to navigate and read a room, understand the dynamics of all individuals within that space, knowing how to best nurture the relationships and inner workings of the dynamics and culture.

We call her “The Mother” at Kids Unplugged. When I need someone to create a safe environment for my students or staff to express their needs, thoughts, and concerns, she organizes, facilitates, and fosters that.

She connects with people in a natural, elegant, and intentional way. Once you experience the magic that she has to offer, you will understand the true meaning of being witnessed.
